To install the new OS on your PC requires a bootable optical media or boot disc or OS disc, which also helps to repair the system if something went wrong with your machine. ISO file is an image file of the Operating System or kinda archive file, that contains every sector of an optical disc. these files are available on the internet to download but these files come with large sizes, Linux distros weigh less on the other hand Windows OS ISOs ranging from 3GB to 6GB.

In this post, I'm explaining about how to write ISO file to an optical disk in the Windows environment. it is easy to do this in Windows because Windows have an inbuilt tool, that makes the task easy.

Make sure you have inserted the optical disc into your PC.

Step 3

Now, click on the Burn button on the right site of the window.
